The Trojan rifle team captured another state championship on December 8, 2019, in the precision shooting category. In conjunction with the state championship match, the JROTC program hosted 520 athletes from 46 high schools across 6 states (Texas, California, Florida, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Colorado). The Precision Rifle Team is currently ranked #1 out of 1,700 Army JROTC high schools in the nation heading into the U.S. Army JROTC National Service Championship match. Congratulations to the rifle team, their coaches, SGM Rod Smith, SGM Bud Maison, and LTC John Tatom, on their state championship!
